Plaster block coloured with graphite & watercolour - with repetitions incised into the surface. The work is inspired by the work of Pousette-Dart an American artist with strong links to Jim Ede of Kettles Yard House - Cambridge. In addition the notion of the works incisions come from the book 'The Old Ways', by Robert MacFarlane, who talks of writing having links to 'harrowing a track...' [P105].
